Little Chunks from a Little Creek

A return trip ½ mile upstream did not produce any color. We hit bedrock but it was barren.
Next trip will find us a shorter distance upstream from our original find. I did manage to get a decent little picker which I define as anything larger than Roosevelt's ear on a US Dime.

This gold has not traveled far as even the tiniest spec of gold is not flat but rather chunky. Maybe next time we'll zero in on the source...stay tuned.
